Episode 13 – Fragmentation to Insecurity: A look at the Year Ahead 2017

About: Listen to our year-end review special featuring Policy Talks Podcast researchers Bridget Healy and Mark Haichin along with hosts Mitch and Mel in a roundtable discussion on several key topics to look forward to in international relations for 2017.

Policy Talks was able to gain exclusive coverage of the annual Centre for Security, Intelligence and Defence Studies conference that took place on December 8, 2016 at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, Ontario. This year’s panel topics covered Hot Spots of the World and Impact on Canada, The Future UN and Canada’s Role, The World after the U.S. Elections, and New Horizons in Cyber, Space, and the Arctic. We saw a running theme of fragmentation, uncertainty and insecurity through all of the panel discussions and have put together a double-feature with clips from our interviews with some of the panelists.

Come back to see complete uncut interviews with Dr. Jane Boulden, Dr. Martin Geiger, Dr. Christopher Sands and Sara McGuire coming up next week!
